Hibachi without the show no volcano onion or shrimp catch in the mouth. They cook everything behind this one big window. The staff was ok and food was mediocre but not great. My daughter had the kids meal steak hibachi with few veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, and onions). The steak was very salty!! I had the eel roll and dancing roll they both looked very similar and the size of the rolls were small surprisingly. And we also had the shrimp and chicken hibachi over cooked chicken like rubber. Fried rice is decent. No frills here.

Chintzy, and cheap. The staff are too hurried to be cordial. The vegetables on the hibachi plates only consist of zucchini, undercooked onions, and mushrooms. The rice is merely white rice soaked in soy sauce soy it looks fried. Everybody bathed their food in the mayonnaise sauce in squeeze bottles on the tables to make it bearable. One of the worse meals I've ever had to pay for.

Food just like hibachi but with out the price. If you don't need them cooking at your table then this is the place to go. My family had been there a number of times and we all like it. I have had the chicken, steak, shrimp and some spring rolls and they were great! Great lunch menu too. ***and this is a whole bottle of shrimp sauce at the table***

The Genji on Watson is pretty good. The one on Houston Lake and 96 is very inconsistant. Guess it just depends on who's cooking that night.......

First off the seating is awkward its four tables segregated by little wood walls. Even though its not where you sit at the grill and watch them cook I felt like I was eating dinner with the 2 other tables sitting by me. When we sat down the table was sticky I asked the waitress to wipe it off because of that. She did...still sticky. I got the chicken and steak combo with salad ginger dressing and the daily soup. I asked what the daily soup was she said its like chicken broth. That's exactly what is was. Salty chicken broth. I'm talking like it tasted like salt with a hint of chicken. O felt dehydrated after I took 3 sips. Didn't eat anymore. The salad was OK even though it was drenched in ginger dressing. Got my main course steak and teriyaki chicken with white rice. It came with a ton of onions on it. I'm good with a few onions but this was pretty loaded. My girlfriend got fried rice with hers it wasn't cooked well enough. The food tasted.....OK I guess is the word for it. Like I don't feel like I'm going to get food poisoning but I feel like I'm gonna feel it coming out tomorrow and know it was my dinner. Then there's the "yum yum" sauce which should be called the "eh it makes my food slightly edible sauce". My gf barely ate any of hers and told the waitress she didn't like it. We still got charged full price BUT we did get an I'm sorry from her. Overall I will not being going back. If you want Japanese steakhouse go to zen.

The food is great and inexpensive. The bathroom could use a lot of work. The lunch specials are great!

This is my favorite place in the world to eat... Seriously, spicey chicken with orange sauce is the most amazing piece of meat that has ever been in my mouth... If I was on death row THIS, would be my last meal...

Good hibachi food served quickly. No fancy table shows. I usually get the steak, chicken, and shrimp combination. If you ask for an extra meat portion they insist on serving it in a separate dish.

The food is ok I've had a lot better Jap food. I ordered the California Roll it wasn't great It looked like It came from a gas station. My wife got the steak and rice and it looked like a pile of grease. Restaurant looks dirty needs updating

The location on Houston Lake seems to lack a professional quality. The cook and girlfriend in the next booth over were distracting. The server was excellent. The food was just ok. Not worth the price in my opinion.

High prices for bad quality food. The egg rolls were cold, the rice tasted horrible. I would not recommends eating here at all. Normal hibachi prices but for the quality of food it wasn't good at all.

This is hibachi without the re-run games of having a person toss knives and make stupid jokes in front of you. The rice, vegetables, chicken, shrimp, and steak or filet is always GREAT! I can't speak about the salad (I don't eat salad with pre-poured dressings), or the sushi. I don't go to a place like this for sushi. They bring the food out fast and the price is half of what you would pay at a Japanese Steak house where they have the cook toss the knives and tell the jokes (ala "you want coca cola...soy sauce?"). No, this place doesn't have ambiance and is not winning top awards for anything, but for the price and taste, I go here regularly and will continue to do so.

Absolutely terrible. I got some form of filet and shrimp stir fry. The only taste I got out of it was a hint of dog food. I would never go here again.

Love everything I have ever gotten there. Salad with ginger dressing is delicious. I want to drink down the last of the dressing in the bowl. Hibachi ribeye is great.

Very good Japanese! Large serving! If you go to the one in Bonaire accross from Winn Dixie the serving aren't as large as this one...Lunch time is the best to go....very cheap chicken with rice and soup...in about 5-6 dollars! Nice!
